Now, a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alcoholic.org\/identify\/night-out-drinking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alcohol calculator<\/a> built by the folks at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alcoholic.org\/identify\/night-out-drinking\/\">alcoholic.org<\/a> can help you see the real effects of tossing back a few drinks. Before you can even say \u201cwhiskey and coke,\u201d you\u2019ll be presented with stats and charts detailing the number of calories you\u2019re consuming, your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhtsa.gov\/links\/sid\/ABCsBACWeb\/page2.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blood alcohol concentration<\/a> (BAC) over the course of the night and how much exercise you\u2019ll need to do to burn all those liquid cals off.<\/p>\n<p>We crunched the numbers for a variety of drinks, based on the height and weight of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/fastats\/body-measurements.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">average woman<\/a> (5\u20193\u201d, 166 pounds) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/fastats\/body-measurements.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">man<\/a> (5\u20198\u201d, 195 pounds) in the U.S. Guys, if you consume four beers over the course of two hours, you\u2019ll be be downing about 556 calories. (Plus, you\u2019ll likely exceed a BAC of .08, so no driving allowed).
