As a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and registered nurse (working the night shift), Garcia knows how crucial it is to feed her body and mind. \u201cIt\u2019s important to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/pre-workout-fuel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fuel well and often<\/a>,\u201d Garcia says. \u201cI eat every three to four hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/meal-plan-nutritionist-nora-minno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What RD\u2019s Really Eat: Daily Burn Coach Nora Minno\u2019s Meal Plan<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Her #1 rule when it comes to eating: No foods are banned. \u201cI think the second I say foods are banned is the second I can\u2019t live without them all of a sudden, so I incorporate them in moderation,\u201d she says. That includes indulging her sweet tooth. \u201cI like the frozen yogurt with the toppings and candy on it!\u201d she says. While she tries to eat healthy 90 percent of the time, Garcia says she has no problem indulging her <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/recipes\/best-protein-powder-recipes-with-chocolate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dessert cravings<\/a> on the weekends. (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/protein-sources-infographic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here\u2019s what 25 grams of protein looks like<\/a>.) \u201cTuna has a lot of protein in it, and it keeps me feeling fuller longer so I try to get protein into almost all my meals because it prevents me from mindless snacking the rest of the day,\u201d she says. Plus, loading her plate with veggies helps keep her full. \u201cI\u2019ve been overweight [in the past] and it\u2019s been hard,\u201d she admits. \u201cIf you don\u2019t put the right combos of food in front of you, you want to keep eating until you\u2019re full, so I have a lot of vegetables to help satiate me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Want to work out with Anja?
