But as with most things, liking the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/how-to-start-clean-eating\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">idea of clean eating<\/a> is a whole lot easier than actually <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/meal-prep-ideas-healthy-eating\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">putting a plan into place<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After all, microwave meals can be convenient (and sometimes <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/healthy-microwave-meals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aren\u2019t all that bad for you<\/a>), and it\u2019s often easier to snack on chips than to take the time to slice an apple or peel an orange. That\u2019s why we did the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/program\/sweat_sessions\">hard work<\/a> for you, with this weeklong menu filled with clean eats. Print out the whole list and head to the grocery store, or simply pick and choose your favorite meals (leftovers are totally allowed!). \u201cIt\u2019s just trying to stay away from the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/ewg-food-scores-food-calculator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overly processed foods<\/a> and get back to nature \u2014 high-vitamin, nutrient-dense meals,\u201d says Fitness and Nutrition Coach Melinda Harvey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/clean-eating-budget-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">6 Easy Tips for Clean Eating on a Small Budget<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Harvey, the meal plan below is structured in a way that will keep you satiated \u2014\u00a0not deprived. \u201cGo for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/protein-sources-infographic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">protein<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/how-much-fiber-high-fiber-foods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fiber<\/a>, they\u2019re the best to fill up your stomach,\u201d she says. \u201cA lot of people when they decide to go on a diet, they\u2019re just eating iceberg lettuce \u2014 but it\u2019s just not going to keep you full or satisfied.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plus, many of the recipes utilize similar ingredients (like quinoa), which you can <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/meal-prep-ideas-healthy-eating\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cook in big batches<\/a> so you\u2019re not spending all week in the kitchen. While it might take a little more effort than your usual go-to\u2019s of takeout and freezer food, the results will be worth it, Harvey says. Yes, even in a week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost people say they see a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/lifestyle\/exhausted-signs-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">boost in their energy<\/a> when they start clean eating just because they\u2019re getting so many more nutrients out of their food,\u201d Harvey says. \u201cDigestion-wise they say they see positive effects\u2026 and people generally say they feel lighter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sounds good?
