With the release of her book <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1501123092\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1501123092&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lifbydai-20&amp;linkId=XBFBVFRIABNRS5IQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Stash Plan<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>Prepon and co-author Elizabeth Troy, R.D., aim to make healthy eating and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/printable-meal-planning-templates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">meal prep<\/a> accessible to everyone. \u201cThe first thing I teach my friends is kitchen confidence,\u201d Prepon says. \u201cAnybody can cook. But it wasn\u2019t until she met Troy \u2014\u00a0a nutritionist, yoga instructor and practitioner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acos.org\/articles\/the-chinese-medicine-meridian-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese Meridian Theory<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 that she found a way of eating that worked for her. You\u2019ll meal prep two days a week \u2014\u00a0on Sundays and Wednesdays\u00a0\u2014\u00a0and have enough food to, yup, stash, for the rest of the time. Meal plans focus on a well-rounded mix of protein, carbohydrates (like brown rice and sweet potatoes) and vegetables. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1501123092\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1501123092&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lifbydai-20&amp;linkId=XBFBVFRIABNRS5IQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Stash Plan<\/em><\/a> contains complete meal plans and recipes for savory dishes like \u201cNo-Bull\u201d Bison Patties, Garlic-Roasted Beets, Herb roasted Sweet Potato Home Fries.<\/p>\n<p>Another important component of the plan: Consuming <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/benefits-of-bone-broth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bone broth<\/a> on the regular. For exercise, Prepon and Troy advocate 20 minutes of Troy\u2019s Stretching Muscle Meridian Method per day (detailed in the book), combined with light cardio like running, biking or walking.
