The warming spices and crunchy glaze make it the perfect fall treat. Unfortunately, the average treat is deep fried and loaded with sugar, putting it on the \u201cdough not go\u201d list. But alas, this healthy recipe makes them a guilt-free alternative to a Krispy cr\u00e8me, saving you eight grams of fat and seven grams of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/sugar-bad-for-you-health-effects\/\" target=\"_blank\">sugar<\/a>. We swapped refined sugar for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/health\/apple-cider-vinegar-for-weight-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\">apple cider<\/a> and used applesauce as a natural sweetener and nonfat <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/recipes\/healthy-yogurt-parfaits-recipes\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greek yogurt<\/a> to make them deliciously moist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/recipes\/low-fat-pumpkin-cheesecake-pops\/\" target=\"_blank\">90-Calorie Pumpkin Cheesecake Pops Recipe<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Spiced Apple Cider Donuts Recipe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><em>Serves 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prep time: 15 minutes<br \/>\nCook time: 25 minutes<\/p>\n<p>[skinnybox]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2 cups apple cider<br \/>\n1 cup all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 tablespoons coconut sugar<br \/>\n3\/4 teaspoon cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon ground cloves<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon nutmeg<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon baking soda<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n2 tablespoons apple sauce<br \/>\n2 tablespoons nonfat Greek yogurt<br \/>\n1 tablespoon melted coconut oil<br \/>\nCooking spray<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Optional coatings:<\/em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>2 tablespoons melted coconut oil<br \/>\n2 tablespoons sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 tablespoon cinnamon or 2 tablespoons icing sugar<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly spray a donut pan with cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Place the apple cider in a pot on the stove over high heat and boil until the liquid has been reduced to 1\/4 cup.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients including the reduced apple cider. Stir everything together until well combined.
