Here\u2019s Your Guide, Plus Recipes<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Whole 30 Recipe: Rosemary-Garlic Chicken with Bacon-Wrapped Cabbage<\/h3>\n<p><em>Serves 2<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prep time: 20 minutes<br \/>\nRoast time: 35 minutes<br \/>\nTotal time: 55 minutes<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>2 teaspoons minced garlic<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh sage<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Grated zest of 1 lemon<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>1 teaspoon coarse salt<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>1 teaspoon black pepper<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>2 bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts (8 to 12 ounces each)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>1\/2 small green cabbage, core intact, cut into 4 wedges<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>4 slices Whole30-compliant bacon<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice<\/p>\n<h3>Instructions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Combine the olive oil, rosemary, garlic, sage, lemon zest, salt, and 1\/2 teaspoon of the black pepper in a small bowl. Rub the seasoning over the chicken and underneath the skin with your fingers.<\/li>\n<li>Place the chicken, skin side up, on one side of a large rimmed baking pan. Roast the chicken for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, wrap each cabbage wedge with one slice of bacon. Place the cabbage wedges on the other side of the baking pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1\/2 teaspoon black pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Roast until the internal temperature of the chicken is 170\u00b0F and the cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes more.
