Recipe by Carla Oates, founder of The Beauty Chef

Carla Oates, founder of The Beauty Chef, believes that “beauty begins in the belly.” Expensive face creams and serums won’t do much for a clear and glowing complexion if your gut isn’t balanced and healthy, she says. And this nutrient-dense smoothie bowl recipe from Oates’ new cookbook, The Beauty Chef: Delicious Food for Radiant Skin, Gut Health and Well-Being, delivers. It’s rich in fiber, antioxidants and skin-protective minerals, such as selenium, copper and zinc. You’ll also get a special boost of GLOW ADVANCED Inner Beauty powder, which is made with prebiotics and probiotics to keep your gut happy and skin radiant.
