We’re all about getting our healthy fats in, and avocado is one of our favorite sources. That soft, buttery creaminess — it’s sometimes hard to believe this decadent green fruit can actually be good for us! (In moderation, of course — just one avocado has nearly 300 calories.) The superfood also boasts fiber, potassium (twice as much as a banana), vitamins B and E, folic acid, and anti-inflammatory properties. Which gives us all the reason to hoist a homemade chip! Made with unexpected ingredients like sweet potato, kale and even chocolate, these guacamole recipes will make you the talk of your Cinco de Mayo fiesta.
