Raw Cheesy Broccoli Recipe
For the broccoli:
3 cups broccoli florets and matchstick-cut broccoli stems
For the cheese sauce:
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup pure water
1 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/3 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast
- In a high-speed blender, combine all of the cheese sauce ingredients and blend the mixture until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, toss broccoli with the cheese sauce until it’s evenly coated.
