Movie night? Popcorn is an A-plus snack choice. Studies show that the puffed stuff is chockfull of whole grains and the brown hulls (that always get stuck in your teeth!) are actually a great source of antioxidants. But beware: Packaged popcorns can deliver a scary amount of sodium and unnatural preservatives.
Step away from the microwave and try this homemade version on for size. With a mix of sweet and salty, this inventive popcorn recipe hits all the right flavor notes. Sriracha adds a spicy kick, and lime zest balances the heat with some citrus. With popcorn this good, we doubt you’ll have any leftovers!
